Also, please pass on to other frat in the state you know that may also be interested in this project. There have been a few updates to the PowerPoint since the project started. We have only received 27 applications to date, but I know many more brothers wanted to get plates.

I have sent this to brothers in the state of Missouri that I was only aware of within the last three years. PLEASE FORWARD this message to all brothers you know.

THE TIME HAS COME. We are able to get a fraternity license plate in the state of Missouri with the needed amount of applications. The minimum number needed for this endeavor is only 200, which pales in comparison to other states’ requirements (1,000 in Alabama and 1,500 in Illinois). Therefore, I am confident that we can reach this amount.

I have three attachments for your review:

1) a flyer for distribution to give awareness to the project overall;
2) a manual application for an emblem use authorization statement (EUAS) that will enable brothers to obtain the fraternity plates, in case they are not able to apply online during the months of February or March; and
3) a PowerPoint application to be shared amongst all brothers in the state regarding this project (UPDATED 2/17/11).

There are also two links that you should also review online:

1) http://dor.mo.gov/forms/1716.pdf – the form needed to be completed to submit to the Missouri Department of Revenue to process each plate and;
2) http://www.prestoregister.com/cgi-bin/order.pl?ref=BlueandWhite&fm=1 – this is a page where brothers will be asked to apply online for the EUAS only during the months of February and March, to determine how initial monies raised will be distributed throughout the state.

I hope that all are doing well as this holiday season is now in full swing. The excitement is building as we move closer and closer to the Founders’ Day Celebration. As I have previously we have our International First Vice President coming as our guest speaker and we have a local jazz artist for our entertainment as well as the normally exciting program.
